Mark Harrison speaks to Club Media on the latest regarding the FDH Bank Cup quarterfinal tie against Santhe Admarc, status of Madinga’s International Transfer Certificate and update on the list of his injured players.

On the readiness of his troops to face Santhe Admarc

Look, facing Santhe I don’t think is any different than facing the team that we faced last week [Zingwangwa United] in all truth of the matter. Yes they knocked out two super league teams which makes them a threat which we have to be aware of. But at the end of the day, if we do our job properly; we should get the right result. It’s about positive mental approach from the players, no complacency and doing the job like we did last week when we won 4-1. We must go there with the same mindset and if we do, we match their physicality, we match the desire to chase and run then our quality should take us through. As I said, we have to come through with a strong mentality from the kick off.

On the signature of Francisco Madinga and his readiness to feature for games

We have received his ITC [International Transfer Certificate] now. So we are hoping to get his card. I will have to wait and see if he gets his card in time before the game tomorrow [Saturday] before I can make any decision whether he can get involved in the game or not. We will have to wait and see.

The Nomads’ Gaffer has also given an update on injury list

Nearing come back – Kumwembe

Mphatso [Kamanga] Chris [Kumwembe] and Adeleke [Kolawole] are still carrying injuries. Chris is now pretty much recovered, he just needs to get back into full training next week. Mphatso is still feeling a little bit of injury and so we have to be careful with him and same with Adeleke. Chris should be back in training next week and whether or not he features in the next game or two, I don’t know, it will depend on his fitness levels. We will have to wait and see on that one as well.

The Lali Lubani Boys return to Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday to battle out with Santhe Admarc of Kasungu to see who cruises into the last four of the FDH Bank Cup. The shelves at Lali Lubani Road have not yet kissed the glory of the FDH Bank Cup and the Mukuru Boys have this realization at the back of their minds.

Santhe Admarc made history when they saw off Azam Tigers and Kamuzu Barracks FC to reach the last 8. The winner of Saturday’s encounter will face Mafco FC who edged Bangwe All Stars on post match penalties.
