The Nomads return to Kamuzu Stadium this Sunday having played their last three games away from the base.

The Lali Lubani Boys played Karonga United at Karonga Stadium, Extreme FC at Bingu National Stadium and Mpondas FC in Balaka. Fresh from a mid-week fixture where they edged Mpondas FC 0-2 in the FDH Bank Cup round of 32, Mark Harrison’s men will be trekking to Kamuzu Stadium with the hope of consolidating their title chase by collecting maximum points on top of the central region outfit.

Manoma currently lie third in the standings, four adrift of leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets FC with nine games played. On the other hand, Dedza Dynamos are on position thirteen with ten points in their bag from the same number of games.

Head-to-Head
Wanderers FC has largely dominated proceedings over Dedza Dynamos winning two times and drawing once in the last three encounters between the two sides. Last season, the Thomson Mpinganjira boys beat Dedza Dynamos 2-0 at Kamuzu Stadium in the top flight TNM Super League. The Nomads went on to hand Dynamos another defeat, this time whipping them 0-3 in the FDH Bank Cup quarterfinals at Dedza Stadium. The two sides then went on to share spoils in a two all draw during a TNM Super League return match played at Dedza Stadium.

Current form
The visitors are coming from 2-0 loss to Moyale Barracks whilst the hosts are reeling from a 1-0 shock defeat to debutants Extreme FC. In the last four league games, “Ma Dayii” have drawn twice against Tigers and Eagles, won against Civil and lost to Moyale in their latest fixture.

Manoma have however in their last four fixtures won against Karonga United and Bangwe All Stars. They have suffered defeats at the hands of Chitipa United and Extreme FC

Gilbert Chirwa’s men will be looking forward to recover from their last game’s defeat, so are Mukuru Boys. It will be an arduous assignment for both sides.

Men to Watch
Dynamos will be banking hopes on their leading scorer Clement Nyondo who has this far bagged six goals to his name. He is currently the fourth leading scorer in the league. On the other end, Gaddie Chirwa is expected to provide the pace and in-runs that in most cases keep the opponents at shudder.

Squad update
Gaffer Mark Harrison will miss the services of his last man, Miracle Gabeya who is serving his two-match ban due to the red card registered during the match against Extreme FC. Mphatso Kamanga is also not available for selection due to injury. The rest of the squad is fit to face Dedza Dynamos

A word from Mark Harrison

The Briton spoke to the Club media ahead of the Sunday clash. Said Harrison; “We need three points to get ourselves back on track for the campaign. After the Sunday match, we have Bullets on our radar, we will have to work hard and bring results”.
