
Mighty Wanderers 2021 Limited have landed a 12-month water sponsorship deal with Island Beverages Limited who are producers and distributors of Kasupe still water .
Unveiling the partnership in Blantyre, Mighty Wanderers Limited’s Brands and Marketing Manager, Greyson Chapita says the landmark year-long deal will benefit all the four teams under Mighty Wanderers 2021 Limited.
“Island Beverages have become exclusive bottled water supplier to Mighty Wanderers FC [senior team], Mighty Wanderers Reserve, Mighty Wanderers Youth and Mighty Wanderers Queens,” disclosed Chapita.

Reacting to the development, Mighty Wanderers Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Panganeni Ndovi hailed the partnership as an accelerator of the company’s commercial drive.
“We will be opening our Club House facilities including the bar in due course. Our patrons will have access to products like Kasupe water which will be sold at the Club House,” remarked Ndovi.
Representing the board during the signing ceremony, Board Secretary Chancy Gondwe described the partnership with Island Beveraves as a landmark deal in the course of making mighty mighty again.
“This partnership should not just be looked along business lines, it means our players will remain hydrated all the times the times which will improve performance on the field of play,” concluded Gondwe.

Island Beverages Limited Operations Manager Christopher Malani said the company is confident that the deal with Wanderers will not just accord Wanderers the opportunity to consume high quality water but also motivate the team to aspire for greatness.
According to Malani, Island Beverages are giving the game of football water of the highest quality.
Under the deal, Wanderers will access Kasupe bottled water at a 50% discounted rate, cutting the club’s annual water costs by an estimated K25 million. This will enable the club to meet its internal water needs for players, officials, and staff more efficiently, while freeing up funds for other critical operations.
In addition to the savings, Wanderers will enjoy exclusive vendor rights to sell Kasupe water during home matches and at the soon-to-open Club House Bar. These retail opportunities are projected to generate consistent revenue, further supporting the club’s commercialization drive.
For Island Beverages, the partnership provides strong brand visibility, aligning Kasupe with one of Malawi’s most popular football teams.
This collaboration reflects a win-win approach, Wanderers gain vital financial relief and new revenue streams, while Island Beverages leverages football’s massive reach to grow its brand.
The coming in of Island Beverages has increased the number of Wanderers’ partners to six including Ekhaya Farms Foods, Thomson and Barbara Mpinganjira Foundation, 888bets, Smile Life Insurance Company Limited and Pemba Rubber Stamps.
