Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC shared the spoils with Civil Service United after a goaless encounter on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
The game did not live to it’s expectation as both teams struggled to create chances.
Despite the bad state of the pitch, the visitors were not in their best form as they lacked coordination and fire power to collect maximum points.
Joseph Balakasi’s side netting and Yamikani Chester’s weak shot in the second half were the only notable threats; thanks to Civil’s decline in performance this season otherwise the Nomads could have been caught off guard.
The draw has left Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC with 25 points: 5 points behind second placed Blue Eagles and 13points behind leaders Nyasa Big Bullets.
