Head Coach Bob Gerald Mpinganjira has raised concern over repeated wastage of scoring opportunities by his side.
Speaking in the aftermath of 0-0 draw against Civil Service United in Lilongwe, Mpinganjira says he regrets missed chances that could have earned his side maximum points.
“It was a tough game but we also missed a couple of scoring opportunities. This has been our song in the recent games, a thing we need to go back and rework on. Civil gave us a tough opposition, they also missed several opportunities and I thank my boys that we didn’t concede any goal.”
The Nomads gaffer also thanked his charges for finishing top of the standings and unbeaten.
Mighty Wanderers FC finished the first round of the TNM Super League on top of the log table with 35 points. They remain the only unbeaten side in the league having won ten games and drawn five.
