Despite edging Blue Eagles FC 1-0 at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC Head Coach Mark Harrison says he is not impressed with the performance of his charges.

Speaking to the Club Media after the match, the Englishman bemoaned some levels of laxity amongst his troops which he feels need to be checked. Said Harrison; “we were very good in the last two games but our play today was no where near how we played against Bullets and Silver. Our team today was probably much stronger than the one we featured against Silver but the performance was less. I am not happy with the performance despite being happy with the result”.

Asked what needs to be done to address his concerns, Harrison called for change of mentality amongst his players. Added Harrison; “It’s a mental thing. It has nothing to do with technical work or tactical knowledge. The boys need to get over it. They need to approach every game seriously as if they are playing Bullets or Silver or a cup final. We must take every game as a cup final”.

Commenting on the next assignment, Harrison was cautious with the fixture, describing it as a difficult assignment. “It is not easy especially when you are playing MAFCO up there. It’s a difficult place to go but we need to get our heads clear and go there to collect three points”, Harrison remarked.
