A rematch between Kamuzu Barracks and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at Champion Stadium in Mponela ended in stalemate as both teams failed to score on a windy but beautiful afternoon in the TNM superleague fixture on 08th October, 2022.
This was the second meeting of the two teams at the same venue this season as they also met three months ago during the launch of the stadium and Mighty Wanderers won by 2 goals to Nil

This time the Kamuzu Barracks Side looked more dangerous than the last one as they launched attacks every now and then through out the first half…thanks to Miracle Gabeya, Cholopi, Kang’unde and Pilirani Mapira who defended very well to prevent Kamuzu Barracks from scoring.
Wanderers created very few chances in the first half and there was no clear chance the whole first half.

In the second half Coach Alex Ngwira substituted Sulumba, Vitumbiko Kumwenda, Mkonda and Vincent Nyangulu for Wisdom Mpinganjira, Misheck Bottoman, Mathews Masamba and Robin Ngala de.
The substitutions seemed to be yielding results as Wanderers started attacking more but did not get any goal.

It ended 0-0 after 90minutes.
The draw means that Wanderers are still on position 5 with 42 points and Kamuzu Barracks are on position 4 with 49 points.
